In 1995, following the Polio Eradication Initiative of World Health Organization (1988), India launched Pulse Polio Immunization Program. Having made unprecedented progress in polio eradication, India is now gearing up to be declared polio free by 2014. DJJS has been a vital player in mobilizing societies and communities for polio immunization since 2003 all over the country through its wide network of branch offices. We not just observe pulse polio immunization days but also have weekly facility for the same at number of DJJS branches. Therefore, Aarogya stands out by benefitting hundreds every week and lakhs since its inception.
