Under its holistic health program ‘Aarogya’, Divya Jyoti Jagarati Sansthan(DJJS) in collaboration with Department of Public Health Dentistry, Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences (PGIDS) Rohtak, organized two days ‘Free Dental Health check-up & Treatment Camps’ separately on May 11 and May 25, 2018 at Divya Dham Ashram in Punjabkhod, Kutubgarh road, Delhi. The aim of the camp was to provide free dental health services to poor rural communities who are neither aware of their dental health nor afford appropriate treatment.

The camp started with a welcome note by DJJS’s preacher Swami Tejomayanand. With the introduction of medical team of PGIDS, he informed the gathering about the various spiritual and social projects of the DJJS. Also, Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry, PGIDS, Dr. Manjunath B. C. educated on oral hygiene and common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and their preventive measures.

In both days of the camp, a team of veteran dentist surgeons and Para- medical staff from PGIDS, Rohtak carried out a comprehensive dental checkup of the registered patients. They provided consultation, treatment & diagnosis to each patient for their present dental condition and those identified with acute dental problems were referred to PGIDS, Rohtak for further investigation & needful treatment like RCT, Extractions, Periodontal Flap Surgeries, etc. Prescribed medicines were given free of cost to patients. In total 172 patients from the villages around the Divya Dham Ashram got benefitted with this comprehensive Dental health checkup.

Under its holistic health program, Divya Jyoti Jagarati Sansthan has started free comprehensive dental health care initiative with the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences (PGIDS), Rohtak, Haryana to provide 'free and specialized dental treatment' in the villages of Haryana by organizing two Dental Medical OPD Camps every month at its Divya Dham Ashram.

For the last two decades, Sansthan has been providing healthcare facilities in different areas of the country under its health initiative ‘Aarogya’.  By organizing regular ‘Ayurvedic Medical Camps’ & ‘Vilakshan Yog Shivir’ the Santhan is also engaged in promoting and expanding of ayurveda & yoga.
