Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the holistic health program ‘Aarogya’, organized ‘विलक्षण योग शिविर’ - a one day empowering and energizing Yoga Camp at DDA Park, Near Metro Station, Govindpuri in New Delhi on 16th September 2017. Yogacharya Shri Sameer Kumar from the Sansthan along with his team undertook Yogasanas and Pranayama sessions in morning hours from 6am to 7.30am.
DJJS ‘Vilakshan Yog Shivir’ is a special camp which enumerates the significance and importance of ‘Yoga and Pranayama’; in overall healing of the body and attainment of perfect equilibrium and harmony. The shivir covers yogasans, pranayama, relaxation techniques, meditation as well as ayurvedic health care tips etc.
Over 40 people participated in this yoga camp, wherein they were taught basic Yogasana like Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, Skandh Chalan, Pad Chalan, Shavasana, Dhanurasan, Vajrasan,etc and Pranayama techniques such as Naadi Shodhan, Bhastrika, Anuloma-Viloma, Kapalbhati, Bhramri. To create awareness about the health benefits and significance of yogic exercises and pranayama, participants were educated on how daily practice of Yoga and Pranayama along with Meditation is important for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The session ended with Om chanting and recitation of mantras such as ‘सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः’ and ‘शांति पाठ’ (peace prayer) seeking health, peace and harmony for all.
