'निःशुल्क स्वास्थ्य परामर्श एवं जांच शिविर' - a one day free ‘Health checkup and consultation Camp’ was organized by DJJS Gurugram in association with Paras Hospital, Gurugram on 27th November 2016 from 10 am to 2pm at Community Centre, Bhim Nagar, Gurugram to cater the health needs of people residing in the nearby underserved communities of Bhim Nagar, Ashok Vihar, Pataudi chowk, Madan Puri, Shiv Puri, Sheetla Colony, Jyoti Park, Rajeev Nagar and Sec- 5 in Gurgaon. One week prior to camp, publicity about the camp was done through announcements and distribution of pamphlets by DJJS volunteers.
On the day of camp, the registration of patients was done from 9am to 11am by DJJS volunteers. A team of doctors from Paras Hospital, Dr. Aruna Kalra (Gynecologist Sr. Consultant), Dr. Sameer Kakar (Junior Consultant, Orthopedics) and Dr. Deepak (General Physician) provided free consultation and diagnosis to patients for all common ailments and ailments related to heart, bones & gyne also. 128 patients comprising 55 women and 73 men were benefitted from this camp.
Special arrangements have been made in the camp for Blood sugar test, BP checkup, weight and E.C.G. Prescribed medicines were given free of cost to patients.
The health camp was well organized under the guidance of Sadhvi DivyaYoga Bharti, disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
