DJJS Jalandhar organizes Vilakshan Yog Shivir

Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the holistic health program ‘Aarogya’, organized ‘विलक्षण योग शिविर’ - a one day empowering and energizing Yoga Camp at L.R Doaba School in Jalandhar, Punjab on 11th August 2018. Yogacharya Swami Vigyananand ji from the Sansthan along with his team undertook Yogasanas and Pranayama sessions in morning hours from 6am to 8am.

DJJS ‘Vilakshan Yog Shivir’ is a special camp which enumerates the significance and importance of ‘Yoga and Pranayama’; in overall healing of the body and attainment of perfect equilibrium and harmony. The shivir covers yogasans, pranayama, relaxation techniques, meditation as well as ayurvedic health care tips etc.

Over 340 people rejuvenated with their participation in this yoga camp, wherein Yogacharya Shri Vigyananand ji taught basic Yogasanas like Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, Skandh Chalan, Shavasana, Dhanurasan, Vajrasan, etc. and Pranayama techniques such as Naadi Shodhan, Bhastrika, Anuloma-Viloma, Kapalbhati, Bhramri to the participants. Yogacharya ji educated people on how daily practice of Yoga and Pranayama along with meditation is important for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. He also enumerated that Yoga is the process of connecting life with divine. Yoga is acceptable all over the world and even scientist approves that yogasanas & pranayam techniques are the best of all exercises to create positive, pure & creative energies in us. He further enlightened the participants that how Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan helps in alleviating the physical and mental stress in people by teaching them the science of Yoga along with Surya Namaskar and Pranayama techniques.

The session ended with Om chanting and recitation of mantras such as सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः and शांति पाठ (peace prayer) seeking health, peace and harmony for all.

On this occasion, eminent guests Sh. Rajindra Beri (MLA), Sh. Rajendra Sharma (President Transport Union), Shri Avinash Singla (President Aggarwal Samaj Sabha), Sh. Vivek Khanna (Councilor, Guru Govind Singh Avenue), Sh. Pawan Kapil (Doaba College), Sh. Avneep Arora (Doaba College), and Dr. Shashi Prakash Tiwari (APJ College), Sh. Pradeep Bhardwaj (Editor, Weekend News channel) along with Swami Sajjananand ji, Swami Sadanand ji, Swami Umeshanand ji, Sadhvi Urmila Bharti (Preachers, DJJS) graced the event by their presence and participation.
