On the occasion of Independence Day, DJJS under its initiative ‘Aarogya’ in association with Department of Immunohematology & Transfusion, S.R.T.R. Medical College, Ambajogali, Maharastra have organized Blood Donation Camp on 15th August 2014 in the premises of Parali Vaijinath Ashram. Around 55 men and 15 women came forward to donate blood. In total, 67 units of blood were collected. Dr. Arun Bansode appreciated and apprised the donors with his motivational speech and said donating blood is a lifesaving attempt. "You don't lose anything if you donate blood as human body has a regenerating mechanism" added Dr. Shubhangi Borade. Refreshments, certificates of appreciation, and blood donation cards were given to the Donors.
