DJJS Bhopal branch, Madhya Pradesh organized seven days ‘Nishulk Ayurvedic Swasthya evam Chikitsa Shivir’ - free Ayurvedic Health checkup Camp from 8th to 14th April 2017 to promote Ayurveda and sensitize masses on the effectiveness of Ayurveda as a natural course of complete health & well-being. The aforementioned camp was in itself an extended contribution of traditional Indian wisdom along with ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Navaha Gyan yagya’ at Krishi Farm, Near Dusshera Ground, Obedullaganj, Raisen, Madhya Pradesh.

Wide publicity of Ayurvedic camp was done in advance by DJJS volunteers through distribution of pamphlets, hoardings and announcements through auto rickshaws. The registration of patients was handled by DJJS volunteers. 

A panel of two Ayurvedic doctors (Ayuvedacharyas), Dr. Meer Singh and Dr. Dhram Pal Singh rendered free consultation and diagnosis to patients in the camp, along with paramedical staff for BP check-up and medicines distribution.

In the consecutive seven days of the camp 1240 patients comprising of 307 men, 507 women & 40 children were registered and diagnosed through Ayurvedic procedures and modern method. Facilities such as blood sugar test and blood pressure checkup were also available in the camp. Also well researched Ayurvedic medicines of SAM Ayurvedic Pharmacy at Nurmahal, Punjab were provided to patients at concessional price. A large number of health seekers from all walks of life and age visited to inquire and buy the ayurvedic products and medicines manufactured by SAM Ayurveda Pharmacy.

The Eye camp was a huge success with overwhelming response from the local people. All patients felt satisfied and pleased with the treatment facilities and availability of ayurvedic medicines. The camp was indeed a huge success in terms of management, services and cordiality.
