Bikaner branch of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Santhan organized ‘‘निःशुल्क आयुर्वेदिक स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिविर’ – seven days ‘Free Ayurvedic Health checkup Camp’ from 26th December 2017 to 1st January 2018 at Middha ji ka Nohra, Sector-3, Mukta Prasad Nagar in Bikaner district of Rajasthan state to promote Ayurvedic treatment and create awareness about Ayurveda as a natural course of complete health & well-being.

One week before the Ayurvedic camp, a team of DJJS volunteers went for canvasing and distribution of pamphlets. The pamphlets provided detail information about the Ayurvedic camp, its venue, time and the available medical facilities.

On the day of camp, the registration of patients was handled by DJJS volunteers. Along with paramedical staff for BP check-up and medicines distribution, two Ayurvedic doctors, Vaidya Trilokchander ji and Vaidya Dhrampal Singh ji provided their services in terms of free consultation and diagnosis through Ayurvedic procedures to the registered patients for various ailments like indigestion, back pain, arthritis, constipation, general weakness, acidity, gastric problems, diabetes etc. In seven days of camp, more than 500 patients availed health benefits.

Also well researched Ayurvedic medicines of SAM Ayurvedic Pharmacy at Nurmahal, Punjab were provided to patients at concessional price. A large number of health seekers from nearby populace came to inquire and buy the ayurvedic products and medicines.
