In the last week of this month on the 24th and 26th respectively, at G.B. S. S. School, both in Vishwas Nagar and Laxmi Nagar, a two hour long “Say No” Workshop” was held with students and the school authorities organised by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan founded/mentored by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj ji under its Drug Abuse Eradication Program (Bodh).

In order to highlight upon the factor of peer pressure amongst children, a theme named 'Keep your strings in your own hands' was elementally focussed upon in the workshop which productively lasted for two hours beginning at 8 am to 10 am in which Mr. Piyush, an engineer by profession with his longstanding experience of delivering the lectures on the subject and above all, by the benign grace of His holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji interacted with the present enthusiastic audience through various activities such as demonstrations, educative games and instances for letting them know what one goes through and what all adverse effects can one's mind have when an intoxicating substance enters one’s body.

Through this event, the children were encouraged to keep the strings of their life in their own hands so that all the decisions they make throughout their lives are not merely dependent on others unlike a “Katputli” who’s strings are in someone else’s hands and hence it obviously dances the way others want. The batch of 2000 students who were a part of this workshop not only enjoyed this workshop but also understood the message symbolically hidden behind.

Along with this activity, a musical skit, several demonstrations and an insightful lecture was presented in front of the students in order to sensitize them on the personal, physical, mental, professional and social harms of abusing the intoxicating substances.
