Manthan - Sampoorna Vikas Kendra, the holistic education program for underprivileged children, taken up in the society as a social initiative by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, in yet another one of its successful stories, is proud to add 16 July 2017 to its glorious days.
We are proud to announce that Rajasthan Ratnakar, a philanthropic society, chaired by Mr. Rajendra Gupta, gave out scholarships to 12 of Manthan’s meritorious students on this day. The event, held at Shah Auditorium, Raj Niwas Marg, Civil Lines, New Delhi, saw a mix of literature and folk culture of India, with the main highlight being a Hindi Skit titled ‘Court Martial’ presented by Sukhmanch Theatre.
The program started with lamp lightening ceremony, after which the esteemed guests were honoured. The chief guest of the event was Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal (central Finance and corporate state minister, Govt. of India) and Shri P.P.Chowdhary(Central Law and Justice, Electronic and IT state Minister, Govt. of India). The program was inaugurated by Shri Narender Singh Tomar Ji (Cabinet Minister, Govt. of INDIA). Shri Brahm Swaroop Brahmchari ji from Jai Raam Aashram was the special guest.
851 students in all from 55 schools across Delhi-NCR were awarded scholarships of ₹2,000 each, wherein 12 Manthanites proudly received these too. Manthanites received scholarships from the hands of Shri Surinder Sharma Ji (a Popular Hindi Poet and humorist) and the other esteemed guests.
After receiving the scholarships, students also had refreshments and relished the ice-creams.
