Divya Jyoti Jagarati Sansthan‘s (DJJS) social initiative Manthan – Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK) is not only working for the welfare & education of the deprived children but also for the upliftment of women. Prashikshan is one of the projects run under the umbrella of Manthan SVK, where women of deprived areas are learning sewing and stitching. On 3rd January 2018, Prashikshan had its 1st convocation ceremony held at Gurugram branch.
This project was initiated by DJJS with the collaboration of Rotaract Club of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (RC of SGGSCC), DU, in the month of April, 2017. The club in collaboration of Singer India Pvt. Ltd. and Rotary Club, New Delhi provided sewing machines and kits to run the center.
With successful completion of the 3 months Certificate and 6 month Diploma course, the convocation ceremony was organised to encourage them with certificate distributions. The exam of the Prashikshan beneficiaries was conducted by Singer India Pvt. Ltd., and qualifying certificates were provided by Singer India itself. President, Ms. Anshika Walia (RC of SGGSCC), Mr. Ritanshu, District Secretary (Rotary Club) and Mr. Tamish Goyal, ex. President, RC of SGGSCC, along with other young and vibrant Rotaractors motivated the Prashikshan students through their motivational gestures and awarded students with the qualifying certificates and diplomas issued by Singer India Pvt. Ltd. 10 students were awarded for the Certification course and 4 students were awarded for the Diploma Course.
Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan under the able guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj ji is working incessantly towards societal growth and upliftment. Manthan SVK thanks its supporters and well-wishers who are providing their continuous support for uplifting our society.
