June 14, 2018

CSR is an initiative by businesses to take responsibility for social welfare and environmental impacts. With an aim to understand their social responsibilities towards the upliftment of the society, employees of Bank of America (BOA) demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility, and to engage employees in social initiatives through employee volunteering and providing nonfinancial support. The CSR team had visited Manthan-Sampoorna Vikas Kendra Centre of Gurugram, Haryana on 16 May 2018. As a part of their commitment towards consecutive visit twice in a week, the team is keen to support Manthan SVK in the overall development of the child. The BOA CSR team will focus on co-curricular activities and activities based learning at the center and have promised to send at least 5-6 employees regularly to the center.

Quoting their experiences in the visitors book, the employees expressed their unparalleled happiness which they got by spending their time with the students. They were highly impressed to see the talent and confidence of the kids that isn’t usually seen elsewhere. They thanked the efforts of Manthan SVK, DJJS in bringing the kids to the mainstream education system.

It was indeed a remarkable step to come out of the comfort zones and share the joy with someone who is less privileged. Manthan SVK pays its humble gratitude towards the volunteers and organizations coming forward to make the Vision of Sakshar Bharat-Sashakt Bharat a dream reality.

Manthan SVK team wishes to sustain this cordial association with such an enthusiastic team of Bank of America for its endeavors in future too.

Together, we can help a child and bring hope in their lives. Together, we can bring change and make it last.
