DPS Students volunteered at Manthan SVK

Manthan SVK Gopal Nagar, Ludhiana was visited by students of Delhi Public School (DPS) on 7 November and 31 November. Under their project ‘Educating the street children’, the Students along with their mothers met Manthanites and interacted with them. The team from school taught basic concepts of English, Hindi, Mathematics and Art to Manthan scholars. Manthan SVK students were excited by the visit and were keen on learning the topics imparted to them such as numbers, phonetics, noun, pronouns, verb, adjectives, Hindi grammar, and art and craft. 

The DPS students also taught Manthan SVK students the dos and don’ts during an earthquake. Also, in the moral education session, Manthanites learnt how important it is to stay united and were taught the slogan ‘Unity is strength’. 

DPS students also exhibited and sold ANTARDRISHTI products to support the differently abled people. The guests appreciated the efforts of Manthan SVK and the cause it is working for. They also shared on how it was a great experience to interact with these children.
