Engineers Club (Rohini Zone) visits Shakurpur Manthan SVK

Manthan SVK- social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan(DJJS), which is working towards the overall development of the underprivileged children by giving them their rights and opportunities of which they are usually deprived of and helping them to understand their hidden potential.

To contribute and support the campaign, Engineers Club (Rohini Zone) visited the Manthan SVK centre Shakurpur, New Delhi, on 29th Sept’18. The guests at the event were- Er. B.S. Katodia (Retired Superintendent Engineer DDA), Er. S.K. Mittal (Executive Engineer DDA), Er. R.R. Sharma (Retired Executive Engineer DDA), Er. Pardeep Malhotra (Assistant Engineer DDA), Er. Subhash Rohilla (Retired Assistant Engineer DDA), Er. R.K. Sethi (Assistant Engineer DDA), Er. D.K. Sharma (Assistant Engineer DDA), Er. Gulshan Chawla (Assistant Engineer DDA), Mrs. Rekha Malhotra (Sr. Architect, South MCD), Mrs. Vineeta (Homemaker).

The members of the club shared their views and encouraged the children about the importance of education and how they can contribute to the development of the nation by using the tool of knowledge. The members admired the ideologies and the methods taken by the Manthan-SVK to impart the education to the underprivileged children and providing them integrated learning through co-curricular activities along with the knowledge of moral values in their life. The guests appreciated the discipline exhibited by the students and were impressed by the children reciting mantras and sharing positive thorughts.

In the end, the guests distributed stationary kits to the students. They also contributed for the utensils required at the center. To show their gratitude towards the members, the students gave them thank you cards. The members were glad to see the holistic growth of the Manthanites and at last wished them with their blessings.
