When they don't want to leave the company of Manthan even on Sundays then it is quite imaginable that it wouldn't have been easy for them to live apart from Manthan during summer vacation. But soon their sadness turned to a broad smile with the declaration of an interesting Summer Camp. Yes, an enthusiastic camp was conducted by qualified teachers and volunteers at seven Sampoorna Vikas Kendras (SVKs) - Mangolpuri, Badli, Paschim Vihar, Rithala, Shakurpur and Vikaspuri in Delhi and Gurgaon in Haryana from June 22 - 27, 2015.
Expressing joy and happiness, Manthanites enjoyed all the sessions and themes organised on six different days. Khel khel me vigyan - Science experiments and activities, Math and magic - Games, puzzles and easy magic tricks, Sanskrit Day - Vocal Sanskrit, poem, counting, self introduction etc., in Sanskrit through various activities and games, Movie and dramatics - Movie session 'I Am Kalam' and drama and acting session, questionnaire related to the movie, Art and craft - TLM i.e., teaching leaning material and some decorative items made from waste material, and Community lunch and talent hunt - Lunch of teachers and students together, teachings on brotherhood and unity through activities and talented performances by students on dance, acting, drawing, rangoli making, mehendi, skit, poem, singing etc., were the attractions that kept sustaining the passion of Manthanites.
These six days brought both learning and entertainment wherein Manthanites nurtured their creativity. It was also amazing to have some preachers during the camp who shared wisdom bites with them and inspired them to maintain good moral conduct and lend a helping hand to the society's development.
