September 14, 2014
Manthan-SVKs at Patel Nagar and Badli in Delhi held zealous celebrations to mark the occasion of Hindi Diwas.
In an endeavor to educate students, an innovative game was organized wherein play cards of Hindi Swar and Vyanjan were distributed among them. They were given a word and those carrying the relevant alphabets appearing in the given word would stand up. This activity brought a fusion of fun and learning to them.
Students were apprised of the importance of Hindi language, which was adopted as the Official Language of the Union on September 14, 1949 by the Constituent Assembly. Therefore, September 14 is celebrated as Hindi Day every year.
