It seemed as if their wings had got an open sky to enjoy with a fearless and limitless fly. Their joy knew no bounds when another celebration knocked the door of Manthan. Apparently, cheerful Manthanites once again got an opportunity to adorn this Diwali celebration with their laudable performances.

Manthan-Sampoorn Vikas Kendra (SVK) at Patel Nagar organized a program to celebrate Diwali on October 22, 2014. Mrs. Archana Gupta, Councillor- Ranjeet Nagar , graced the occasion. Sadhvi Deepa Bharti ji, Program Coordinator of Manthan was also present, along with teachers, sponsors and parents of Manthanites.

The event kicked-off with Vedic Chanting that ornamented the aura with peaceful vibes. The auspicious Lamp Lighting was carried out byMrs. Archana Gupta. She also addressed the audience and congratulated Manthan for working towards a social cause.

Sadhvi Deepa Bharti ji, in her address, underscored the objective of Manthan and the need to inculcate in children our Indian moral and ethical values. Her views also laid emphasis on significant issues like eliminating child labor and celebrating an Eco-friendly Diwali. She encouraged the audience to step ahead and contribute towards this noble cause and shape the future of under-privileged children.

The series of performances by talented Manthanites earned them praise from the audience. They put together dance performances onGanesh Vandana, Dil Hain Chhota Sa Chhoti Si Asha and Happy Diwali. Some Manthanites also recited poems and presented a play on celebrating Diwali without bursting crackers. A debate among two Manthanites came as a major attraction as they pondered over celebrating Diwali with crackers or without them. Ultimately, it had to be the celebration of Diwali in an eco-friendly manner.

The event also witnessed testimonies of students, sponsors and teachers who shared beautiful experiences on their association withManthan.

Manthan always remains at the forefront to utilize every opportunity and teach Manthanites the importance of Indian festivals and hidden lessons in them. This celebration also served as a medium to reconnect them to their culture and restore the glory of our Indian value system.
