Budha once said, “To keep the body in good health is a duty, otherwise we shall not able to keep our mind strong and clear.” Good health is central to human happiness and well-being. To maintain an optimum health, balanced nutrition, regular exercise, adequate sleep and happy relationships are the four pillars which are essential. Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansathan (DJJS) acknowledges the importance of health and spreads awareness though its programs. One of its program is Manthan, a holistic education program for the unprivileged children and women.
Recently, in the Gurugram center, a Life Skill workshop was organized for the Manthanites which involved 61 beneficiaries. The momentousness of health was emphasized by the Sadhvi Aneesha Bharti through an effective PowerPoint Presentation. The session revolved around the good habits related to health and hygiene which the students must instill in themselves in order to live a healthy life and be more productive in study.
Overall, it was a successful session and the students were participative throughout the session.
