Manthan participates in Health check-up camp organized in Faridabad by Bhuvnesh Kumar Dhingra foundation

Health of a person is one of the most important possessions of a person and like everything else, it also needs regular monitoring. Childhood is a considerable period of our life when the foundation of our health is kept. Following this mantra of healthy body leads to healthy mind, various health checks up camps are organized in Manthan for the students. One such camp was organized by Bhuvnesh Kumar Dhingra Foundation on 12 December 2018 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The camp was organized at Bhuvnesh Kumar Dhingra Memorial Park at NIT Faridabad, Haryana.

Manthan, Faridabad was honored to be invited to be a part of this camp. Children were given complete advantage of the camp where they had various facilities like eye check-up, child care, dental check-up, blood pressure check-up, consultation with orthopedic as well as cardiologist. A number of highly esteemed dignitaries were a part of this event such as the Suman Bala (Mayor), well known industrialist Sushma Gupta. The doctors available in the camp are well known in their respective fields. For dental check-up, Dr. Sakshi kataria (BDS, MDS, Gold medallist) was available along with multiple interns such as Dr. Nikhil, Dr. Prachi, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Chadiap, Dr. Swati (PG), Dr. Komal, Dr. Nikhil Kaushik (PG), Dr. Jiksha, Dr. Sonam (PG). For the eye check-up, eye specialist, Dr. S.P.Singh was available with O.T. assistant Mrs. Sheela. Also, Dr. Lokesh was available for general child care. Necessary medical advice was given to the beneficiary by the doctors. Some medicines were also given to the students such as Martivit syrup (Multivitamin tonic), calcium and vitamin D3 suspension, fluoride medicated oral gel as well as diclofenac sodium tablets 50mg and many more.

Special arrangements were done for the convenience of Manthan students. To thank the authorities for such generous arrangements, Manthan student gifted hand made cards to all the doctors. Along with the cards, monthly magazine of the organization, Akhand Gyan was also distributed to the present dignitaries. Newsletters and brochures were also distributed to spread the awareness about the various undergoing projects in the organization. Health check-up camp was considered a huge success with 58 Manthanites and 1 faculty member being the beneficiary for the same.
