Manthan SVK celebrates ‘Swatantrata Diwas Samaroh

The 71st Independence Day of India was celebrated by the Manthanites of Patel Nagar Centre, Delhi with immense patriotic valor. The event held on the 11th of August, 2017 at Shri Sanatan Dharam Mandir, West Patel Nagar was grand, filled with numerous lively performances by the bright Manthanites.

Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra, like every year, did not cease to celebrate this national festival and instill a sense of patriotism and love for one’s country in the hearts of our children.

With the lighting of the auspicious lamp along with chanting shlokas, the Manthanites then showcased their talents by reciting poems with perfect voice modulation and expressions.

School bags were distributed by thesponsors to the children adding to their excitement for studies as this nonetheless adds to the external motivation of children to study.

Live testimonies were shared by the parents and beneficiaries of our Adult Literacy Centres and Prashikshan Sewing and Stitching Centres, in which gratitude and happiness was expressed to the fullest. With tears filled in eyes, the beneficiaries orated the sea change that has happened in their lives because of the selfless efforts of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s Manthan Program.

Patriotism was given a special place in the event through various performances like the choir song titled 'Desh Hume Deta Hai’, a fancy dress showcase titled 'Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’  and a dance titled ‘Ma Tujhe Salaam’. A skit titled ‘Bharat se India Tak’ also portrayed the deep understanding of the Manthanites about their country, culture, values and its prosperity.

Other highlights of the event were the sponsors’ meet with their children and also the showcase of our recently launched Manthan Jingle titled 'Padhte Hi Jayenge’, making our hearts fill with pride. The event ended with a vote of thanks.

The guests at the event were Madam Suneeta Gaaba, councilor Baljeet Nagar; Mr. A.P Bhardwaj, Ex. Captain, Navy; Mr. Sanjay Sati, Dairy Engineer and Mr Sanjay Kandpal, Tax  Inspector along with the sponsors of Manthanites.
