Manthan SVKs participation in Swadeshi Mela|| Celebrated #DaanUtsav

Swadeshi Jagran Manch, District Moti Nagar, Keshav Puram Branch organized “Swadeshi Mela” on 2nd & 3rd October 2017, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Ramleela Maidan, Maharishi Dayanand park, Tri Nagar, Delhi.

The two day’s program was scheduled with interesting activities and sessions; included children’s drawing competition, lamp lighting and guest’s felicitation, followed by varied forms of cultural programs, free aerobics, yoga classes, and children’s Fancy Dress Competition.

Chief Guests of the event were; Shri Ram Bahadur Rai (Adhyaksh-Indira Gandhi Rashtriya kalaa Kendra), Shri Shyam Jaajhu (Rashtriya Upadhyaksh avam prabhari Delhi, Uttarakhand Bhajpa), Shri Manoj Tiwari (Adhyaksh Bhajpa, Delhi Region), and Shri Kashmiri lal (Rashtriya Sangathan Swadeshi Jagran Manch). The special attractions of this fare were the swadeshi bazaar, cultural ceremonies, traditional dances, camel rides, and classical Indian music.

Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s, Holistic Education Program; Manthan-SVK also participated in this cultural Fare. About 20 Manthanites from the Sampoorna Vikas kendras (SVK’s); Mangolpuri and Shakurpur joined in to paint out their creative ideas and displayed up their hidden talent. There were three categories according to their age/levels, therefore the topics given were: ‘Free hand drawing’ for Junior Section, ‘Indian Culture’ for the second level, and ‘Swachhata Abhiyaan’ for the third grade. All the students got awarded on the evening of the next day of the fair with certificates and gifts.

In addition, Manthan SVKs Information counter was also put up exhibiting the #DaanUtsav Initiative, along with this DJJS’s another blind welfare social initiative, ANTARDRISHTI also participated with its product exhibited, that are made by visually impaired and differently abled persons. Manthan SVK representative, Ms. Neha Gupta also addressed the audience highlighting various social reformation initiatives of DJJS’s giving prime focus on and its Holistic Education Program Manthan SVK and its impact on the society.

Few generous donors came forward to support the cause and also clicked their UnSelfies at the counter to generate awareness. The Antardrishti stall of DJJS also received a very good response. The guests and organizers highly appreciated the selfless initiatives of DJJS and its philanthropic activities guided under the mentorship of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
