Manthanites from Gurugram visited Nehru Planetarium with SAPIENT CSR team

On 30th September; Friday, SAPIENT (a marketing and consulting company) CSR team of ten employees supported and accompanied Manthanites at Gurgaon to make a successful educational outing to Nehru Planetarium, a science museum situated in Delhi.

Around 45 students of Manthan-SVK along with five Manthan volunteer-teachers and a DJJS representative preacher; Sadhvi Yogdivya Bharti Ji along with ten Sapient employees assembled at the Manthan-Sampoorna Vikas Kendra, Sheetla colony, Gurgaon by 12:30 a.m. from where all together started to reach the venue by Bus.

Students were distributed the refreshments before entering the museum after which they were all ready and excited to enjoy wonders of dark skies. All children enjoyed this day as the expressions of happiness, excitement, adventure was clearly visible on their bright face.

Students enthusiastically reported their experiences after the visit about the beauty of the planetarium and its attractions. Many of them said that they enjoyed the most was the movie session which they viewed in large, dark auditorium wearing 3-d glasses at the beautiful roof which just looked like a space. Students were very happy to relate to the practical picture with the concept they have read in their science textbooks. They could identify the planets by noticing their different shapes. A students said to his teacher, “it feels that I am flying in the space”.

Team-Sapient heartily praised the dedicated efforts of Manthan teachers for the cause they are working for and gave best wishes.
