November 14, 2014

Exhorting students to maintain hygiene and cleanliness has always been among topmost agendas of Manthan-Sampoorn Vikas Kendras (SVKs). Giving further boost to this idea, Manthan kicked-off a passionate cleanliness drive, 'Swacchta Abhiyan' on the occasion of Children's Day. This was also a manifestation of the cleanliness campaign running all across the country.

SVKs at Mangolpuri, Rithala, Dwarka, Shakurpur, Badli and Patel Nagar in Delhi,
SVK at Gurgaon in Haryana, SVKs at Gopal Nagar and Ashok Nagar in Ludhiana, Punjab, and SVKs at Gaya and Saharsa in Bihar got engaged in this significant drive wherein students were guided by teachers in proceeding with cleaning the nearby roads. They were also joined by community people.

Both the SVKs at Punjab also held Children's Day celebration, which was beautified by poem recitation and dance performances presented by students. Sweets were distributed among all.

It is also worthwhile to mention that Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan was invited by GRH Public School in Ludhiana, Punjab on their Children's Day celebration. Disciples of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti ji, who is also the Program Coordinator of Manthan and Sadhvi Rajni Bharti ji graced the occasion.

Gifts were distributed to students and the school principal expressed happiness.

Such events prove to be fruitful in encouraging students to uphold the rich culture of our country and take them forward to sustain human values.
