Teachers Meeting – building capacity

Teachers’ Meeting deems an integral part of any educational institution ensuring coordination and planned education methods. At Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra, having understood the importance of this segment of education, regular meetings involving teachers from all centres of Manthan are held, wherein detailed discussion takes place on broad bases of our Manthan module. 50 teachers and volunteers from Delhi-NCR attended the meet on 16th April, 2017 at Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s Head Office, Pitampura, New Delhi.

Following points were discussed during the meet:

1.       Regarding center’s infrastructural improvement

2.       Assemblies learning

3.       Review on the previous year activities

4.       Curriculum development

5.       Health & Nutrition of the children

6.       Need assessment

7.       Presentations and discussions on the yearly planner

8.       Smart classes for improving auditory & visual learning in the students

9.       Value imbibed learning methodologies

10.   New enrollments & classroom management in the current session.

The meet included the teachers giving feedback and suggestions about the above mentioned bases.

In order to make our working more transparent and accountable, teachers ensured to maintain records like daily attendance registers, stationery distribution registers, nutrition registers, parent-teacher-meeting registers and teachers’ diaries etc. at the centers. Detailed and intricate records of the health and performance of each and every student in the unit tests are also maintained in all Manthan centres.

A further discussion led to the introduction of new Manthan bags, water bottles, and stationary pouches for Manthanites was also held and appreciated by all. With a talk on the yearly planner and future prospects to be taken up my Manthan, the teachers’ meeting ended with a feedback on the recently conducted Annual Day- Nootan Vaarshikotsav.
