Mainstream schools are also now taking keen interest in contributing their parts to bridge the existing education gaps between the privileged and the non-privileged. The students of the mainstream schools spare their time and money towards various social initiatives of uplifting the society through Interact Clubs formed at the school levels.

Recently, 11 students from the DAV Public School, Rohini, New Delhi, visited Manthan SVK Centre of Shakurpur, New Delhi on 8th December 2017. They interacted with the students of our Early Childhood Education ECE 1 and ECE 2, grade 1 and grade 2 students, with loads of activities. They celebrated the birthdays of December born students and held dance and poetry competitions. They also distributed stationery along with gifts and snacks to the children. The DAV students were the members of the Interact Club of the school. One of the teachers from DAV, Ms. Sonia also accompanied the students.

The visiting students talked to the little Manthanites animatedly with immense enthusiasm, and were willing to do their best to be accommodative and accepting. Our children, too, loved the visitors and the fun they brought along.

Manthan SVK is one of the social initiatives of DJJS which is working hard to bring equality in the education standards of the students belonging to the marginalized sections of our society.
