Enabling Manthanites to rise above all the odds and recognize their untapped potential to become responsible youths of the nation, National Youth Day celebration was held by Delhi's Badli Sampoorn Vikas Kendra (SVK) on January 18, 2015.

National Youth Day, celebrated on January 12 in India every year, marks the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, an Indian youth who sacrificed his personal life to serve his country.

The event was graced by Mr. Jay Bhagwan, Former MLA, Badli, Sadhvi Mahayoga Bharti, Preacher, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), was also present on the occasion.

There was a gathering of 400 people including students, teachers and parents.

It was again a great opportunity for Manthanites to exhibit their stage talent and they came up with an inspirational skit and beautiful song and dance performances. Seeing this, their parents became sentimental and expressed happiness on the significant initiative taken by Manthan.

Sadhvi Mahayoga Bharti, in her address, shed light on the importance of holistic education and emphasized the need to come forward and selflessly contribute to this cause.

Ms. Ekta Rana, a Teacher of Badli SVK, shared her experience on working for a noble cause and helping the under-privileged children.

A Sponsor Mr. Mayank Jain also shared about his association with Manthan and the feeling of being a sponsor for such a social work.

While enrichment classes at the SVKs keep Manthanites busy with discovering their academic potential, such events and celebrations bring cheerful moments to them and their creative performances leave a social message.
