Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized Shrimad Bhagvat Katha at Port Louise, Mauritius recently. The occasion was graced by the President of Mauritius, Mr. Kailash Purryag. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from various localities.
The Katha orator Sadhvi Sushri Vishwambhara Bharti Ji, disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh MaharajJi, through her discourse, acquainted the audience with the importance of a Perfect Master in one's life. She beautifully explained incidences from the life of characters in Mahabharata, which eventually revealed the significance of ‘Karmas’. Her words depicted the role of Lord Krishna who was the Perfect Master of His time and revealed to Arjun, the path of spirituality through Brahmgyan.
Sadhvi Ji also narrated incidences from the life of Prahlada, a true devotee of Lord Vishnu. Prahlada was blessed with the divine knowledge of Brahmgyan and his dedication towards Lord Vishnu saved him from the agonies caused by his father Hiranyakashipu.
The audience listened to the discourse with curiosity and quenched their spiritual thirst. Devotional and soulful music by DJJS performers group added essence to the program. On the whole, the Katha proved to be a powerful medium of familiarizing the masses of Mauritius with the dire need of attaining Brahmgyan.
