MEMR Nature Conservator and disciple of H.H. Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Ravi Kumar discussed the shortage of freshwater resources as well as depletion of groundwater in the city with the students. He said, “It is not only the responsibility of government to ensure that all people have access to basic infrastructure, but it is also the responsibility of people to ensure that they do not waste resources making it unavailable for some sections of society”. Experts reveal that 700 litres of water could be saved every day if people start using water cautiously. Narrating his own story of transformation towards pro- environmental living after joining the campaign, Mr. Kumar motivated students to adopt simple changes in daily living and make a remarkable contribution towards conservation of nature.

The sensitization session was followed by an interactive and educative walk through the specially designed DJJS water exhibition. Later, the students and teachers hit the awareness counter to seek answers to their queries and understand ways in which they fulfil their environmental responsibility.
