The program commenced with a soulful devotional concert, anchored by Sadhvi Manimala Bharti Ji, daughter disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Apprising the audience of the core meaning of the shanti mantra and setting the theme of the program Sadhvi ji said, “Mankind is craving for peace, infact the story of development is actually the story of human search for peace and prosperity. Unfortunately, restless human mind in search of peace, in due course, has actually proliferated unrest all around. Therefore the Vedic shanti mantra ’ॐ द्यौः शान्ति’ is actually an invocation calling for peace of mind. When the mind is at peace, peace is attained.”
Based on this very premise the program intended to introduce masses to the ancient supreme knowledge- Brahm Gyan which was instrumental in setting peace in restless human mind- the core cause of all human maladies of the times.
The devotional concert was followed by the Indian tradition of lamp lighting by the dignitaries. Subsequently, DJJS environment expert and Pan- India Program Incharge Sadhvi Aditi Bharti Ji took the audience towards a unique theatrical performance of an ancient environmental case- study written in Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran. She explained, “As the scientific enquiry into the social questions is available to us in the form of their research papers published in various journals, India has graced the humanity with the foolproof life researches published in the form of ageless Indian scriptures not only discussing life and social issues but providing eternal solutions to these issues. This saga from ancient Indian purana Devi Bhagwat is not just an exaggerated story from the past rather is a perfect parallel showcasing not only the gravity of the current environmental crisis but also revealing the fool proof solution to the problem.”
The audience was left spell- bound witnessing the remarkable performance by the troop of young DJJS Nature Conservators & selfless disciples of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, head and founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan.
