Female feticide and deteriorating status of women is not a problem persisting only in villages in India. It requires equal attention to be paid across the globe. Taking into consideration the seriousness of the social evil in the air, DJJS called for a sensitizing conference in Canada on February 14, 2013, to disseminate knowledge in terms of the preconceived notions and perceived dominated status. A presentation was given by DJJS panel member with title "Eliminate Inequality, Not Women" to generate awareness on the misconception that less number of girls mean less crime in society. It was followed by DJJS documentary, screening outlining the working of the organization in the areas of spirituality and societal development. A group discussion session was organized to have an open discussion on the social pest and the work on the same.
