Lohri is not just about putting nuts and crackers in bon- fire, it is more about burning the evil tendencies. With this message, a socio-cultural event was organized at Sarashwati shishu mandir, Delhi Road. The program began with a poem recitation on the emotions of an unborn fetus by a little girl. It was followed by a sensitizing lecture in which Sadhvi Ji discussed the incessant killing of female fetuses resulting in unbalanced sex ratio. The program was concluded with bon-fire with little girls and their parents.
