New Delhi: Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan organized a grand road show in the Rohini area of West Delhi on November 11, 2018 for the cause of elimination of the societal havoc of Female Feticide. A band of around 300 young and dynamic female volunteers of Santulan – the Gender Equality program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan throbbed on two-wheelers including heavy duty bullet bikes and scooties jolted the residents as well as buyers in the markets of Rohini covering sectors from 1 to 7. The rally of female bikers was flagged off by Ms. Preety Agarwal (Ex-Mayor), Dr. Payal Mago (Principal, Shaheed Rajguru College), Dr. Ravinder Jit (HOD, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology), Dr. Rakesh Bansal (DCP), Ms. Ritu Goel (Councilor), Ms. Chitra Agarwal (Councilor), Ms. Kanika Jain (Councilor), Ms. Saroj Bala Jain (Councilor), Ms. Meenakshi Beniwal (Councilor) at Shiv Palace Banquet Hall in the Vijay Vihar area of Rohini Sector 4. Crossing landmarks of heavy footfall - Vishram chowk, Ayodhya chowk, Sector 7 Sai Mandir and Sector 7 Police Station, the array of women revolutionaries reached their destination – the Sector 7 Ramlila Ground where the sansthan is going to have a grand 7-day spiritual congregation in the form of Ramkatha from November 17 to 23, 2018.
