The Gender Equality Program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan – Santulan, organized a skill enhancement workshop at its JAIPUR branch for women, to uplift their socio-economic status on June 23rd 2014.
The aforementioned music workshop was conducted by the Sadhvi Gender Trainers of the Sansthan, for young girls wherein Classical Ragas, Devotional Melodies and their notations on the instrument were taught.
"Music has been one of the major forms of art and its expression since ages. But the healing power of music that was known to the ancients has remained undiscovered in the contemporary world” said Sadhvi Arya Bharti Ji, the coordinator of Jaipur branch of DJJS.
“This workshop has boosted our motivational and enthusiasm levels,” said the participants at the end.
Being free of cost, these classes are in reach of all the sections of the society.
