WE TAKE HEALTH SERVICES TO THOSE WHO NEED IT THE MOST. WE SERVE THE UNDER- PRIVELEDGED.

For the world's most populated country, the health statistics raise alarm for quick action. We just have one doctor per 1,700 citizens. The consequence is we live in an ever-increasing yet ailing India where disease and deaths are majorly attributed to lack of accessibility to health services. The underprivileged bear the brunt of this health service gap. It is this health service gap where Aarogya comes into picture. We function as bridge to take health services to those who need them the most. Be it the under- privileged living in rural India or those thriving in the urban slums.

In this 21st century, where adjectives like, globalization, technology geared, connected, ever advancing present a brighter side of the world; a less popular adjective which unveils the darker side is - an ailing world. A world where nature is crippled, economy is corrupted and society is dissected.

Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, a divine personality and founder and head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), reveals the source of this world ailment, "World is nothing but a collection of human beings and the state of the world is just the reflection of the state of its inhabiting humans. Thus, this ailing state of the world finds its origin in the ailing state of humans." Today it is well understood that the ailing state of humans is not just the function of their physical state however, it is collective function of physical, mental and spiritual states. Researches prove that root of the human ailment lies in an ailing mind. A mind inflicted with the lower emotions of hatred, jealousy, competition and ego. His holiness, Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji emphasizes, "To heal the world, heal the humans and to heal the humans is to heal the mind." He says, "Human mind playing a pivotal role in the cosmic merry- go- round, mind cure becomes not only the basic but also essential and immediate necessity for the total relief."

For the past three decades, Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji has been actualizing the vedic definition of health – 'swasmin tishthati iti swasthah' (being established in the self), in the lives of millions including men, women and children under the holistic health initiative of DJJS – Aarogya. By bestowing the supreme science of Self Realization - Brahmgyan, he confers a direct perception of the true self to the seekers and establishes them in the soul. The supreme science of brahmgyan, at once reveals the interconnectedness of the human individual with fellow beings and nature, thus it automatically sets within an individual a global healing mechanism.

WE BELIEVE IN INTEGRATED MEDICINE SYSTEM FOR HOLISTIC HEALTH.

Health as a phenomenon stabilizes itself on two pronged pedestal of prevention and cure. Where medicine takes an umbrella seat in the cure mechanism; there on the flip side, prevention provides a strong root for sustained disease free living. But is that all we need to be healthy? Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji redefines health by pre-fixing an adjective of holistic to it. Holistic health therefore encapsulates happiness, peace of mind, tranquility and enthusiasm too in its larger meaning. Realizing the same we have endorsed an integrated system of medicine combining wisdom of past and modern science which includes ayurveda, vilakshan yoga, panchkarma, acupressure, naturopathy, homeopathy and alopathy. Supplementing diet with ayurvedic herbs and practicing vilakshan yoga everyday strengthens immune system and therefore provides a healthy living. Vilakshan yoga camps organized by Aarogya pan India teach authentic yogic kriyas and exercises and also educate masses about organic living.

  • For years the idea of consuming water has been sold as a panacea for all kinds of diseases starting from prevention to cure. But the most important question is do we also pay heed to the health of the water that ensures our health? Most often the answer is No! As per the National Geographic Society, only 0.007 per cent of the planet's water is drinkable that goes into feeding its 6.8 billion people. Of this, more than 785 million people do not have access to even the basic water service and more than 884 million people do not have safe water to drink. All these facts are horrifying but what is more horrible is that the ones who feel privileged to have access to the drinkable water are also not consuming healthy water. Yes, the water they are drinking is almost demineralized due to advanced filtration processes. For this, let’s have an insight over demineralization. What does demineralization of Water actually mean? According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), …
