Over-Thinking should be over forever!

Throw a glance at fig. A.  Oops!  In this total mess, are you able to find where these arrows are heading towards? Ok, if this graphic was to represent some aspect of our personality, what would that be… with so many arrows emerging and going haywire? Any guesses? You must have guessed it right. These arrows are representative of our thoughts, which continuously emanate from our mind.  And, what if these arrows are further increased in the figure? Oh! Surely, it would result in a catastrophic situation! Isn't it? The worrying factor today is that in our real lives as well, we believe in following the principle of increasing these arrows of thoughts by means of a chain reaction. What makes the story sad is that, many of these thoughts are either futile or unnecessary. This is one of the major problems of people, and is called the process of over-thinking. It's the over-thinking mind that stops us from moving forward in life. It's the over-thinking mind that brings instability by making us feel anxious and worried about this or that. It's the over-thinking mind that makes simple situations complex.  And so, it's the over thinking mind that must be better controlled in order to stop worrying and start living… STOP OVER-THINKING…BECAUSE IT INDUCES NEGATIVITY IN RELATIONSHIPS! A man met a lady in a market without informing his wife. But, to his misfortune, his wife saw him meeting that lady in the market. When th…

Sanskrit- The computer language of Vedic age!

Before reading the article, just pronounce "Pitra". Now say "Patar"! After this say "father"! Ok, now say "Padar". Now, repeat all these words together-Pitra! Pater! Father!Padar! Undoubtedly, you must have heard a common sound in all these words. These words appear similar to each other to a great extent. But, you will be surprised to know that these words belong to altogether different languages. "Pitra" is a word from the Sanskrit language. Pater, Father, Padar belongs to the Latin, English, and Persian respectively. It is all the more surprising that the meaning of these words that belong to different languages is the same- Father … Now, a natural inquisitiveness must have kindled within you. Why such a similarity between different languages from different regions? Two possibilities could be there. Either it is a sheer coincidence or else the languages are not basically different at all, i.e. they are born out of each other! If we think of the first possibility to be correct, which indeed is difficult to fathom, it imposes a question mark on the wisdom of humankind. As such, the second possibility seems to be correct, but, if we think this alternative to be feasible, a yet another question arises- Which of these languages actually form the base? Which is the mother-language from which the family of other languages originated? You may say it should be the oldest; meaning, the most ancient. According to the lingui…

O Disciples! Set Your Efforts Right!

A Sufi mystic Junaid was once taking a morning walk in the garden. All of a sudden, a man came up to him and asked, "How long will it take me to reach the capital of this kingdom?" Junaid looked at the man and without replying he continued walking. Thinking that Junaid didn't hear his question, the man followed him and said again, "Sir, I wish to go to the capital of this kingdom. Can you tell me how long will it take?" Ignoring the question, Junaid again moved forward. After some distance, he looked back at the man who was still walking behind him to reach his destination. Junaid said, "It will take you ten hours to reach the capital of the kingdom." The reply confused the person as to why he didn't answer before. He asked Junaid, "Sir, why didn't you say that before?" Junaid replied, "How could I answer this before? Only after knowing your speed I could tell the time you will take to reach your destination." It's true that without the master's grace a disciple cannot walk on the path of spirituality. But, along with this fact, another very important postulate holds true, that- our efforts also play an indispensable role. To collect the grace of the master, pouring on us like rain, the right effort of a disciple is needed, as he can never absorb the divine grace in his lap for spiritual progress. In the context of the right effort of a disciple, 4-fold elements are mentioned in the sixth part of …
