People’s representatives selected as ‘Panchayats’ in the village, executed their responsibility towards people who voted them, but in a very unique and exemplary manner, not ever had been noticeably performed before by their predecessors in the past or for decades, when they organized the ‘Mass Awareness Program’ at Vill. Thablan, Distt. Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab.
Closely observing the successful execution and the impact of Unmoolan Campaign in the society, Sardar Kuldeep Singh Ji, designated as Numberdar in Village Thablan took the initiative in carrying out the impeccable efforts of the organization in the rural belt of Chandigarh where panchayat representatives and dwellers from 9 villages along with Justice Sr. Nirmal Singh - M.L.A, Halka Bassi Pathana , Sr. Jatinder Singh Khera - S.S.P. Fatehgarh Sahib, Sr. Jagjeet Singh jalla - D.S.P. Bassi Pathana, Sr. Palwinder Singh - Head of Muncipal Corporation Bassi Pathana, Sr. Bhupinder Singh Hans - Chairman Block Smiti Bassi Pathana, Sr. Sarwan Singh - Vice-Chairman Block Smiti Bassi Pathana, Sr. Baljeet Singh - Sarpanch(Head), Vill. Garuan Klan, Sr. Ravinder Singh - Sarpanch(Head), Vill. Nagawan, Sr.Dalbara Singh - Sarpanch(Head), Kishan Pura, Sr. Harinder Pal Singh - Sarpanch(Head), Bahram pur, Sr. Baljinder Singh - Sarpanch(Head), Bhuchi kalan, Sr. Chhinder Singh - Sarpanch(Head), Fateh Pur, Sardarni Dalwinder Kaur - Sarpanch(Head), Vill. Thablan, Sr. Lakhbir Singh – chairman and panch (sub heads) such as Sr. Gurvinder Singh, Sr. Gajan Singh, Sardarni Jaswinder kaur, Sardarni Karamjeet Kaur, Sr. Darbara Singh, Sr. Jagtaar Singh, Sardarni Balwinder Kaur, Sr. Avtar Singh, Sr. Jagjeet Singh from other villages also graced the event.
The program started with the welcome note and lamp lighting ceremony by the eminent guests and subsequently an awareness skit named as ‘life of an addict’ was staged by the trained volunteers under the campaign. Likewise, Sadhvi Manaswani Bharti Ji, an expert on the subject and devotee disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, through instances and observational points delivered her speech highlighting how minor regional and cultural factors are as well playing vital role in aggravating the consumption of drugs amongst masses in a lethal way.
Sr. Jatiner Singh, M. L. A. and S. S. P. of Fatehgarh Sahib exclaimed – “Today, I am feeling proud and blessed for being invited here, if I would not have been invited here, I would certainly miss something very important and awakening in my life, thanks for inviting me in such a remarkable and unique event”’.
Sr. Gurmail Singh Ji, Patwari by position made a special phone call to the coordinators of Chandigarh Branch and said “your program kept on flashing throughout the night in my mind” and requested Swami Gurukripanand Ji to also organize such program in unchha pind, one of the highly effected villages in Punjab.
Project
Unmoolan Campaign is a unique initiative aiming to create drug free environment in Punjab where people are strong willed and resolute to not even experiment with drugs based upon the informed decision taken by themselves alone, not pushed, not induced by anyone else from the society. DJJS through its wide network of branches across the globe is working on nature conservation, bovine conservation, gender aspects, education, health, drug abuse eradication, disaster management and empowerment of prisoners and persons with disabilities.

Bodh- the drug abuse eradication program of DJJS, works for the elimination of drug abuse and eradication of drug demand through ‘Dhyan Therapy’, thereby transforming the drug afflicted society into an abuse free society; where people are mentally, emotionally and spiritually strong to safeguard themselves and the society against drug and substance abuse.
Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan is a multi-faceted socio-spiritual organization, founded and headed by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji to actualize the vision of ‘Global Peace, through Self- Awakening’.
