9th Annual Santulan Awards on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2018, held at Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Since ages, women have lead the society as torch bearers of value-based society through the power of their sub-conscious minds. With this power, they have succeeded in every social sphere and hoisted the flag of womanhood with flying colors. Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, under the banner of its Gender Equality Program 'Santulan', takes the onus to recognize and accredit such she-roes and conducts Annual Santulan Awards every year in the month of International Women’s Day for the remarkable contributions they make to the society and encourage other women to step forward and rise above their present levels. This year too, the organization is carrying through 9th Annual Santulan Awards in various regions of India acknowledging the apparent success and leadership belonging to women, following UN’s theme of ‘Press for Progress’ proactively.

Santulan believes that an empowered woman is powerful beyond any measure. If they start to realize this fact and begin to exercise their strengths, they possess the ability to redesign the world and then there will hardly be a need of a tool for societal development. The same is being highlighted in every workshop with the objective to instill a sense of motivation inside every woman who aspires to make an impact and lead a life of her choice.
