Manthan SVK, social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) with generous support of the corporate Sapient Consulting Private Ltd., Gurugram, Haryana has successfully installed the SMART CLASS (SC) setup that includes Projector, Screen, Computer, Speakers and Mikes at Manthan SVK, Gurugram.  9th February, 2017 marked the official Inaugural Ceremony of the Smart Class. 16 employees and volunteers from Sapient Gurgaon Corporate Social Responsibility Team graced the occasion at the center. Mr Kapil Gupta, Technology Manager at Sapient along with Mr. Bhajneet Singh cut the ceremonial ribbon, whilst officially inaugurating the Smart Class. The team thereafter visited the class and the academic software was digitally launched displaying learning lessons of classes Nursery to 5th. The smart class software has been provided by SmartSchoolOnline as charity. Sapient volunteers took an audio-visual (AV) session in the SC which was thoroughly enjoyed by the children. As earlier the children used to have smart class sessions on small laptop screens, but now with the big screen setup, it was indeed the adorable jiffies to see the children relishing each and every moment during the AV session.

Children also presented a prayer and a dance at the event which was well appreciated by one and all. The staff volunteers interacted with the children discussed their studies and upcoming exams and spent quality time with them. Latest Manthan achievements were also shared by all which received an applauding response.

As exams are approaching near, 100 sets of Exam Boards and Geometry Boxes were also distributed to the children. The team also had discussions at length with Manthan Program Lead, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji and DJJS Gurgaon Coordinator Sadhvi Yogdivya Bharti ji on how to further strengthen the center and improve education standards of the children.

In the last moments, Sapient CSR newsletter UDAAN was presented to Manthan and thereafter wishing good luck to the children for exams, the team took adieu.
