A Soul Enriching Ram Katha at Fatehabad, Haryana: Opening the Third Eye for the Practical Experiencing of Divinity Within

The purpose of holding Ram Katha is to impart the knowledge revealed in Shriramcharitmanas, written by Tulsidas to unravel the hidden meaning contained in the divine text.

The Katha Vyas Sadhvi Shachi Bharti Ji, disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, beautifully elaborated the life and deeds of the supreme power, Lord Rama, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu .She gave incidents from the lives of characters in Ramcharitmanas, acquainting the audiences with the gifts of Devotion (Bhakti), Divine Knowledge (Brahm Gyan) and Salvation (Mukti). She encapsulated this by reciting a shloka,“bade bhag manus tan pava, sur durlabh sab granthin gava”. Only humans have been blessed with wisdom and the power of discrimination by Lord’s grace. The sole purpose of human life is to attempt to gain the supreme knowledge through Bhakti, Gyan and eventually attain Mukti from the cycles of life and death.

Sadhvi Ji further went on to explain the prerequisite of a Perfect Master in one’s life for being blessed with Brahm Gyan and His eventual guidance in the path of spirituality.

The notable aspect of the discourse was the devotional and soulful bhajans. The audience enjoyed the classical notes and essence and the profound meanings deeply touched their emotional chords.

The katha was especially dedicated to one of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s social welfare initiatives, Project Antardrishti which works towards the welfare and empowerment of the physically challenged members of the society. Many of the past  beneficiaries of the Antardrishti project are today not only leading transformed lives themselves as part of mainstream society, but they have also been able to use their knowledge and energy  in order to take the message of positivity and  be the role models to the people as to how to lead a dignified life. A lot of people showed keen interest in knowing more about the project and desired to contribute towards the cause.

The Katha concluded with a grand yagya in which the Katha Vyas and her entire team took part as enunciated in the traditional lore.

The last two days of the program also saw a large number of people being initiated into Brahm Gyan with the grace of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The event proved to be a spiritual delight for the inquisitive souls.
