One of Aarogya's main objectives is to deliver cutting-edge healthcare to everyone. And to accomplish the same, organizing Ayurveda and Dental OPDs on a regular basis has been its main feature. For the same, Aarogya has set up an advanced health Infrastructure for Dental care and Ayurveda Treatment at its premises in Nurmahal Center in Punjab.
A team of specialized doctors conducted an Ayurveda and Dental OPD during the monthly congregation held at Nurmahal, Punjab, on 13th March 2022. More than 261 patients attended the OPD, wherein around 135 benefitted from Ayurveda OPD services and 126 benefitted from Dental OPD services.
The Ayurveda services were facilitated by Dr. Jal Prakash Singh, Dr. Kirpal Singh, Dr. Parminder Moudgil, Dr. Raj Kumar Garg, Dr. Salokya Bharti, and Dr. Hapreet Singh. During the health check-up, health problems like abdominal pain, bloating, skin allergy, backache, body pain, and general weakness were the most commonly found. To treat the same, researched-backed Ayurvedic medicines which are prepared in-house at the center premises were prescribed to these patients.
Similarly, the Dental OPD services were facilitated by Dr. Shikha Yadav, Dr. Amanjyot, Dr. Inderjeet, Dr. Jaspreet, Dr. Ridhi, Dr. Shivnoor, and Dr. Vikram. Tooth pain, calculus, and stain deposits were the most common problems diagnosed among the patients. The treatment was advised to each patient as per the screening and diagnosis.
During the OPD patients were also sensitized on several ways of following a healthy lifestyle which will in turn improve their overall health.
