Under the scorching heat of the sun, thousands of young lads with turban- tied heads riding on bikes covered the streets of kathal city to raise their voice of awareness on the issue of drug addiction. The rally was commemorated to celebrate the 85th death anniversary of our honourable patriots, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru during the british regime in india for raising their voices against the atrocities being done on people of India. With the unitedly collective voice of around 300 youth volunteers resounding in the sky, the rally kicked off at Shaheed Udham Singh Park and covered the high footfall areas such as quality chowk, pihova chowk, karnak road and concluded at proffessors colony in Kaithal city.

Sw. Dheeranand, the devotee disciple of his holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji who is the head and founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan; the parent organization of its ongoing project, Bodh, (Drug Abuse Eradication Program) said, “ the rally conducted in the remembrance of the martyrs like Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru is a call to the nation for instigating a  self-start-up initiative against all forms of drug abuse in the society”.    

The rally was flagged off by Sh. Narendra Pal Malik , SDM, Kaithal City . The event was Also graced by the eminent guests, Sh. Shubash Hajwana - District President, BJP, Kaithal, Mr. Balbeer Sharma – President, Gopal Gaushala, Kaithal, Sh. Pala Ram – Politician, BJP, Sh. Inderjit – President, Shaheed Uddham Singh Marg and Sh.. Sanjay Bharadwaj &Sh. Kernail Singh who are renowned personalities of Kaithal City.

The Rally was highly appreciated by the distinguished guests and was successful in creating a wave of awareness amongst more than 10,000 people on the way of the rally. Various media houses and newspapers like Amar Ujala, Punjab Kesari, jagran citi and many more covered the event thoroughly and propagated  the effect of the message to the whole of the city.
