‘Sakshar Bharat Sashakt Bharat’ – ‘Literate India Empowered India’. Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK), under the stewardship of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji has actualized the vision of providing quality education with the fusion of academic enhancement through enrichment classes and ingrained value system to strengthen the core foundation of the underprivileged children of rural belts and urban slums. An integral part of this mission are the annual visitations which includes a 12-day tour from 21st May to 1st June, 2022 to the 4 Manthan SVK centres at Bihar – Padampur and Parsauni in Saharsa, Gaya and Dhanauja by Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji (Program coordinator, Manthan SVK) and the Manthan volunteers’ team.
The purpose of the visitation helps assisting in reviewing the academic growth of the students and to collaborate with the teachers for future projections. The students felicitated Manthan SVK team visiting from Delhi, Head Office by warmly greeting with bouquets and welcome cards. One of the important ingredients in child development is recreation, so as to influence cheerful mood and attitude. Manthanites performed yoga, a magnificent dance presentation, poem recitation and singing as part of the program. This was followed by an academic review session of the students and teachers. Education nourished with values will nurture awakened individuals who will invigorate the sentiments of peace, harmony, integrity and positive growth in the society. Bringing recognition to the efforts put in by the teachers, Manthan students and parents provided their testimonials.
Although online learning had gradually been gaining traction over the past decade, the pandemic has brought about a massive shift to the process of imparting education in a very brief time period. A review on digital classrooms were discussed with the Manthan teachers so as to transition to a more tech-friendly academic model. Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji the Program coordinator of Manthan SVK addressed the teachers at the respective centres. By emphasising, the importance of contributing towards a noble cause like educating the destituted children. Manthan SVKs are carving out the best of students’ potential through holistic education and development. Innovative teaching learning methodologies help to enhance critical thinking abilities in the children. Teachers were also elicited to provide their views, suggestions and feedback on critical areas that need improvements, along with discussing challenges and their solutions in continuation with making this educational model successful.
