An awareness exhibition was put up by the Santulan team of DJJS Meerut. It is one of the most informative modes of sensitization that includes array of variables demanding attention and proximate action. At present, issues concerned with girl child like female feticide, gender discrimination, exploitation are such variables. DJJS Meerut, being a maestro when we talk of gender equality, motivated thousands present in the Jagran Konnexion on 22nd February. Visitors expressed their opinions on 'what does a daughter mean to them' in the form of drawings, text messages and commitments on the signature board at the Santulan awareness counter.

After the talent-based performances by children from different schools, an encouraging speech was delivered by the Santulan team. Emphasis was laid on the skewed sex ratio, rising graph of female feticide and reasons responsible for it along with a brief of DJJS ceaseless efforts in the said field. The stage was adorned with slogans on gender equality, education of girls, women safety and women empowerment.
