To safeguard child rights and promote education, Children’s Day is celebrated in India on 14th of November every year. Manthan- Sampoorna Vikas Kendra, the non-formal education centres for the less privileged, run under the social initiatives of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan also celebrated the day taking forward the vision of Sakshar Bharat-Sashakt Bharat, on 19th November, 2017 at Mansa Ram Garden, Dwarka Pkt-1, New Delhi.
The program started with lamp lighting followed by the recitation of Deep Prajwalan mantras by the students. The program highlights were: Enthralling Dance performances on Ram Rajya Sakaar Ho Uthe and on Manthan Jingle; a thought provoking skit Refund; Award distribution to the meritorious students, Bag distribution to all 80 students of Dwarka Manthan SVK center , yoga & health session and Sponsor-child meet with children gifting handmade Thankyou Cards and Flower pots to their sponsor- parents. The esteemed guests present at the occasion were Mr. Anant Kishor Saran, IAS, Chief Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, Mr. Amod Poddar, President and Ms. Usha Zalpuri, Secretary, Stand and Stride- organisation working for uplifting child education. Students and Parents also shared their testimonials and experience at Manthan SVK. They talked about the positive changes and developments they have witnessed in themselves and in their wards since joining of Manthan SVK, DJJS. The honest accomplishments and confident gestures amazed the audience present there.
A beautiful message giving exhibition cum stall counter was also exhibited at the venue which was highly applauded by one and all. The guests were greeted with Tilak ceremonial which was followed by the selfie corner created as Manthan’s Photo Booth – let’s recall our old-gold school days. The audiences enjoyed having clicks and selfies with Manthanites at the photo –booth. The event served as an opportunity for students to showcase their talent and the level of improvement in their personality which is persistently increasing day by day with the constant & selfless efforts of Manthan SVK teachers and volunteers. Nonetheless, it is the ultimate grace of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji whose constant inner motivation and guidance is directing us towards achieving the goal of peaceful world.
