Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized a magnificent devotional concert (Bhajan Sandhya) at Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa, Haryana on 4th December 2021. The title, ‘Bhavanjali’ itself showcased the theme of the program, i.e. to offer heartfelt prayers at the Lotus feet of the Lord for world peace. The orator Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji, daughter disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder and head of DJJS), elucidated the necessity of sincere, positive intentions to secure this devastating world.

In the present scenario, innovations, creations and inventions are being done every day, just for the betterment of this world. Moreover, man’s restless mind keeps on hankering after peace and joy. But unfortunately, all these efforts go in vain.  The more he craves, the more he finds himself far away from real happiness and peace.

So, the important question is- Is it really impossible to be peaceful in our lives? No, not at all! The great Indian history is replete with examples which prove that being peaceful is not only within reach, but also it is the right of all. Only we need to have a right technique. For instance, when the demon king Ravana set Lord Hanuman’s tail on fire, the latter didn’t even flinch for a moment. Instead he set the entire city of Lanka ablaze with his tail. Now think, how was he able to keep calm in such a situation? Our ancient Indian scriptures mention that Lord Hanuman was an enlightened being whose spiritual master (Guru) was Surya Dev (Lord Sun) himself.  Due to this divine knowledge, he remained unperturbed in all situations.

Fortunately, the divine knowledge (Brahm Gyan) that Lord Hanuman had; has not perished over time. It is still accessible. However, we too require a true spiritual teacher (guru). Only a true Guru or the perfect master of the time can open our third eye and illuminate our inner self with divine light. When he reveals our true divine nature, then our mind becomes focused and we undertake every action with sincerity. Hence, our lives become joyful, happy and absolutely at peace.

Sadhvi Ji concluded the program by giving a clarion call to the present audience to start their spiritual journey and urged them to find a true Guru who can show them the divine within. For this, she said, the doors of DJJS will always remain open for all. The audience and the guests, Smt. Sunita Duggal (Member of Parliament, Sirsa), Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik (Vice Chancellor, CDLU Sirsa), Dr. Rakesh Wadhwa (Registrar, CDLU, Sirsa) highly appreciated the event. The guests underscored the need of such motivating programs by DJJS for the society, especially among the youth.
