Celebrating the 69th Independence Day of the nation, Dibrugarh branch of DJJS founded and mentored by His Holiness, Ashutosh Maharaj ji under its Drug Abuse Eradication Program, Bodh has organized a one day workshop at Vivekanand Kendriya Vidhyalay and Gurgaon branch too conducted an awareness workshop at Jain Senior Secondary School, Rewari.

Bodh highlighted Vivekananda, Kabir, Meerabai and many more as patriots this independence day in schools at Gurgaon & Dibrugarh

The aim of the workshop was to guide students about the ways they can contribute their bits for the betterment of their own nation and become patriots by serving respected aspects of development with their utmost abilities boosted by their insightful characters. DJJS representatives delivered insightful lectures and demonstrated some correlating activities to explain the true meaning of independence and how students can serve the country by not falling in the trap of addiction, taking stand for the right, helping the needy ones, respecting the elders etc.

On the same theme of aftereffects of drug abuse, Bodh Volunteers presented a sensitizing skit in both the respective schools so that the students could better connect and understand even the minute information of the subject which they otherwise don’t receive. Likewise, in Dibrugarh, separate sessions were conducted for classes 7, 8, 9 and 10 students respectively. As a result, here, more than 500 students and teachers realized the real meaning of patriotism through the program and also in Gurgaon, sadhvi Divyayoga bharti ji, disciple of His Holiness ashutosh maharaj ji, primarily focused upon the incidences of experimentation with drug abuse leading to unavoided addiction without fail, further adding to the main reason of ones complete downfall because abuse of drugs not only hinders the physical capacity of a being but it ruins the mental abilities and shatters the light of one's wisdom as well.
