Books train your imagination to think big. Imagination is the beginning of creation. Children are the future of this world. If the young generation is taught to dream and imagine, our world would flourish. Books play a very important role in boosting this imagination and also the morale of a child. Manthan-SVK is an initiative by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan which is working relentlessly for the benefit of underprivileged children of the society. They not only focus on the education of underprivileged children but also on the overall development. To ensure this development, various drives are held at Manthan centres on a regular basis.
Such a book distribution drive was held at three centres of Ludhiana, Punjab. New Kitchlu centre on 22 May 2019, Gopal Nagar on 23 May 2019, Sekhewal on 27 May 2019. Approx. 202 students were present to be a part of these events. Multiple esteemed guests such as Mr. L.K. Malik (MD, Max hearing centre), Mr. Jatinder Singh (Principal, GRH school), Mrs. Gurdeep Kaur, Sh. Manu Johar(Industrialist), Mrs. Kaushalya Johar, Mr.Vipin Jaidik (Industrialist), Sh.Tarlochan singh, Madhu Sudan Midha, Preacher-Swami Prakashanand, Sadhvi Veeresha Bharti, Sadhvi Rajni Bharti, Sadhvi Neerja Bharti as well as Dr. Bindra were present to distribute the books to the children. Swami Prakashanand Ji and Sadhvi Rajni Bharti Ji represented Manthan SVK, DJJS. Swami Ji explained the motive of this initiative by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan. He briefed the guests about the Manthan SVK project. The guests were impressed by the project and appreciated it. They also offered support in future to the project. Students also enjoyed the event and were grateful for the amazing gift of education they are being provided.
