Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan's renowned holistic education program for underprivileged children, Manthan SVK recently conducted an impactful Teacher's Training Workshop. Recognizing the crucial role of well-equipped educators, the DJJS Manthan SVK prioritizes regular teacher upskilling and training.
On April 30th, 2024, 80 teachers from Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Kanjhawala, participated in a transformative workshop led by Sadhvi Deepa Bharati Ji and Sadhvi Rachita Bharati Ji, along with dedicated volunteers.
The workshop focused on empowering teachers to become role models, strategize engaging teaching methods, and embrace accountability towards their profession. Through insightful sessions, Sadhvi Ji emphasized the importance of knowing each student's individual needs and preferences. In a thought-provoking activity, teachers readily identified their own children's favorite fruits, but struggled to do the same for a student in their class. This exercise highlighted the importance of personalized learning strategies for effective student engagement.
The workshop culminated in a collaborative activity where teachers envisioned their "ideal school" using newspaper clippings. This activity fostered creativity and allowed teachers to share their aspirations for improved teaching and learning environments. The workshop received resounding applause, with everyone acknowledging the dedication of DJJS Manthan SVK and Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Principal Mrs. Sarita Devi also commended the team's efforts in empowering the teachers.
