In September 2024, DJJS Manthan SVK connected with more than 2346 students across the various DJJS branches in the country as well as worldwide through both its online and offline workshops. The workshops that were conducted are as follows –
Sanskarshala serves as a platform to nurture young minds, helping them navigate life’s challenges while staying grounded in timeless virtues. This workshop, conducted by DJJS Manthan SVK, is a transformative initiative to instil essential moral values and life skills in children.
Jeevan Kaushal Karyashala workshops, led by Sadhvi Aneesha Bharti Ji, on the topic of Social Speaking skills. Sadhvi Ji emphasized that speaking skills are crucial for children, helping them express ideas confidently and interact effectively with others. These skills promote active listening, empathy, and clear communication, enabling children to build meaningful relationships and work collaboratively in diverse settings. Cultivating social speaking abilities from a young age prepares children for leadership roles, enhancing their adaptability and emotional intelligence.
Bharat, a haven for adventure enthusiasts, under the Bharat Gaurav Gatha series titled Aao Karein Bharat Ki Sair, spotlighting the exhilarating Adventure Destinations across the country. These sessions covered a diverse range of thrilling experiences across Bharat’s varied landscapes. From the snow-clad peaks of Himachal Pradesh for trekking and skiing, to the white-water rapids of Rishikesh, and the dunes of Rajasthan for desert safaris, there’s something for every adventurer. The dense jungles of Madhya Pradesh and the Andaman Islands' pristine waters also promise thrilling wildlife safaris and diving experiences. Each region offers unique opportunities to explore nature's untamed beauty.
A Specialized Unit of Productive Work (SUPW) workshop themed on Soap Making. The hands-on session aimed to equip students with practical skills in crafting eco-friendly, handmade soaps, toothpowder and detergent. Participants learned about sustainable ingredients and the simple process of making home-based yet fostering creativity and entrepreneurship. The workshop inspired the young learners to explore innovative ways of creating environmentally friendly products.
Manthanites celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion and enthusiasm, bringing together students, teachers, and the community in a vibrant celebration. The event began with a series of cultural performances, devotional songs, and traditional rituals. On that note, the stationery distribution drive took place across various SVKs. Sponsors visited for the Birthday celebration with the students at DJJS Manthan SVK brought immense joy and excitement.
