A new initiative was taken by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan under its holistic health program-Aarogya to provide specialized dental healthcare services and medicine to communities at large by inaugurating a highly modern ‘Dental Care Clinic’ at Divya Dham Ashram, Punjabkhod, Qutubgarh Road, Delhi on Thursday, 9th September, 2021. Fully equipped with modern equipment, the Dental Clinic will enable patients to get free screening and consultation by a team of best Dentists.
The chief guest Dr. Sandeep Sharma (Dentist, PhD-Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedist) along with other eminent guests Dr. Vipul & Dr. Sachin (Assit. Professors, PGIDS, Rohtak), Dr Pradeep Yadav (MDS, Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon), Dr Vijayant Singh (MDS, Periodontist), Dr. Aman Saxena (South Asia Head, RUNYES) and Swami Narendranandji (Head Preacher, DJJS) auspiciously inaugurated 'Dental Care Centre' by offering prayers and coconut breaking ritual. Swami Adityanandji (President, DJJS) greeted the distinguished guests and briefed the gathering about various social projects of the Institute. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Sharma appreciated the initiative by the Organization and said that timely proper medical facilities can prevent serious dental diseases and this Centre is a commendable effort in this direction.
Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan as a non-profit socio-spiritual organization is constantly working for the welfare of humanity through its various social reform and welfare projects. Under the holistic health program-'Aarogya', the Institute is continuously providing health services to the masses with varied health activities through its various DJJS Centers across the country. In the same series, Divya Dham Ashram of the institute is relentlessly providing healthcare services to the rural population residing in its vicinity. Apart from organizing regular 'Free Health Checkup Camps' and ‘Ayurvedic Treatment Centre’, a ‘Primary Eye Care Centre’ in collaboration with Dr. RPC Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi at Divya Dham Ashram benefited the masses by providing free eye care services to the people on a large scale. Also, in collaboration with The Department of Public Health Dental, Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences (PGIDS), Rohtak, 'Free Dental Check-up and Medical Camps' were organized at Divya Dham Ashram itself and provided dental healthcare benefits especially to the rural people. The Institute is also engaged in the promotion and expansion of Ayurveda and Yoga by organizing regular 'Ayurvedic Medical Camps' and 'Vilakshan Yog Camps'.
